Automatic Ultrasonic Absorption Spectrometer.

Abstract

A completely automatic ultrasonic absorption spectrometer covering the frequency range from 5 MHz to in excess of 250 MHz has been developed. The instrument ultilizes Debye-Sears and Bragg reflection of light to modulate the output of a CW argon-ion laser and is interfaced to a minicomputer that interactively controls experimental parameters and accumulates data.
