Survey and Information for Selection of TSPI for USAF Operational Training, Testing and Evaluation (OTT/E).

Abstract

Part I of this report describes the basic principles of operation of various types of Time-Space-Position-Information (TSPI) systems and some of the considerations which are involved in establishing the precision, accuracy and other characteristics of these systems. The report describes in detail the characteristics of a large number of TSPI systems, which are representative of all types of systems which are currently in production, under development or have been proposed as viable concepts. Part II of this report describes the application of TSPI systems to meet the TSPI requirements of a set of 15 generalized missions which were developed by the Test and Evaluation Systems Program Office (TESPO) to describe the spectrum of USAF operational testing, training and evaluation requirements.
