Secure Data Management System.

Abstract

This report describes the design of a Secure Data Management System (DMS) that is to operate on a Secure MULTICS Operating System Kernel. The DMS achieves its security by mapping its data base into the security structure provided by the operating system, with the result that the DMS need contain no security enforcement code. The logical view chosen for the DMS is the relational view of data. (Author)
