AEDPS Computer Graphics Specification and Drawing Production Study.
Abstract
The purpose of this report is to present the results of the study of the current and planned Automated Engineering Document Preparation System (AEDPS) and identification of an effective system for generating annotated (labeled and dimensioned) drawings. The study was concerned with a computer graphics subsystem as it would interface with AEDPS as currently operational. Since all computer systems have inputs, software and outputs - each of these areas were considered from both their individual and interrelated aspects. Emphasis on output continued through its production, handling, storage, retrieval and reproduction.
