Seagoing Hydrofoil Launch 'NEVKA' (Morskoi Kater no Provodnykh Krylyakh 'NEVKA'),

Abstract

The first hydrofoil launch NEVKA, built in Leningrad in 1967, has shown good results in trails. Subsequently, a second launch of this type was built which, with the first, underwent experimental operation on the Black Sea. The special feature of these launches is the fact that their hulls are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, while the foils are made of a light alloy.
