The Use of Primer Vector Theory to Derive Time-Optimal Impulsive Transfers.

Abstract

This study is concerned with minimum-time, impulsive rocket transfers in an inverse-square gravitational field between coplanar and non-coplanar orbits. The transfer profiles considered in this report are two and three-impulse trajectories. These profiles may also contain an initial or final coast.
