Evaluation of Foam Core Panel.
Abstract
The report presents the results of deflection testing of one type cargo container panel constructed of high strength US steel cor-ten low alloy steel sheets with a foamed plastic core. A tabulation of plastic structural foams is presented to further the understanding of the potential usage of these materials. Quality control information is also provided for slab foam and pour-in-place foaming processing.
