Aerospace Materials Response to Intense Thermal Radiation.

Abstract

A survey of methods of testing the response of materials to intense thermal radiation is given. Particular emphasis is given to simulation of the thermal flash from a nuclear weapon with a Quartz Lamp Bank. Results of several tests are shown. (Author)
