Phase Derived Navigation Studies.
Abstract
The design of an aircraft landing system which provides a perspective display to the pilot is considered. Potential sources of error are evaluated. Data reduction schemes are discussed and evaluated. Candidate hardware implementation techniques are presented. In addition, the results of an experiment to determine the magnitudes of the sources of error to be encountered in such systems is presented.
