Fault Detector for Triggered Switches.

Abstract

A circuit is described which can detect and identify the type of triggered switch faults. The unique feature of the circuit is its ability of detecting, latching, and displaying the first switch fault whether the fault is a failure to fire when triggered, or to fire without being triggered. If both the trigger signal and the current signal are missing, the fault detectors will not misfire.
