Fluid Replacement in Shock.

Abstract

The Conference and Workshop on Acute Fluid Replacement in the Therapy of Shock was held May 31-June 2, 1974. Thirty-nine scientific papers were presented at the Conference. The results of the Conference may be divided into three main topics: Assessment of hemorrhage; Frequent complications; replacement of fluid. The report presents a summary of these discussions.
