Algorithms for Solvents of Matrix Polynomials.
Abstract
In an earlier paper the authors developed the algebraic theory of matrix polynomials. Here they introduce two algorithms for computing 'dominant' solvents. Global convergence of the algorithms under certain conditions is established.
