Abstract
The purpose of the design plan is to indicate the specific design approach which will be used in the fabrication of two exploratory development models and six advanced development models of the equipment. The two exploratory development models will include only the Receiver/Transmitter unit, which is the major component of the system. The advanced development models will also include the Aircraft Applique, the Vehicular Applique and Power Amplifier, and the Vehicular Antenna and Coupler, along with other items such as the Manpack Antenna, and the battery case with a complement of batteries.
