Laser Heterodyne Detection.

Abstract

The results of a study concerning the feasibility of utilizing laser heterodyne receivers for passively detecting and identifying military targets are presented. It was concluded that laser heterodyne receivers are not practical as target detectors, but given detection they may be useful in target identification. (Author)
