Gas Adsorption by Activated and Impregnated Carbons.

Abstract

In the period reported, equilibrium adsorption isotherms have been measured for cyanogen chloride on BPL grade activated carbon, ASC whetlerite and three ASB impregnated carbons. The results have been analyzed in terms of the Dubinin-Polanyi isotherm equation. Adsorption components due to chemisorption and physical adsorption have been separated. (Author)
