An Underwater Acoustic Source for the Infrasonic and Low-Audio-Frequency Range (USRD Type J13 Transducer)

Abstract

An electrodynamically driven underwater sound source with an acoutic output of 1.349 W has been developed. Adapted in various configurations including as many as nine driving units, this transducer fulfills a substantial portion of the needs for low-audio-frequency underwater sound sources.
