Design, Fabrication, and Evaluation of an Electron Beam Addressable High Information Density Memory Tube.

Abstract

Radio-frequency interference tests were conducted to determine the tube's susceptibility to this form of interference. The tube performed without error for interference values within specification. A new electron gun with smaller beam spread was constructed and tested. Shielding improvements were made to the BEAMOS tube. Data were gathered on electronic interface equipment tolerances. (Author)
