A Causal Analysis of Relationships between Performance and Satisfaction in Eight Airman Specialties.

Abstract

The purpose of this report is (1) to describe the directions taken by research on the relationships between performance and satisfaction since the 1950s; (2) to expand and test an analysis technique frequently employed in the study of performance and job satisfaction (i.e., cross-lagged panel correlation analysis); and (3) to provide a comprehensive bibliography of research concerned with performance and satisfaction.
