Development of an Enlisted Psychomotor/Perceptual Test Battery.

Abstract

A battery of seven psychomotor/perceptual tests, developed by Biotechnology, Incorporated, of Falls Church, Virginia, was administered to 380 airmen assigned to the 3701 Personnel Processing Squadron at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. A paper-and-pencil battery of 21 tests was also administered to the airmen. The objectives of the project were to determine the psychometric characteristics of the psychomotor/perceptual battery and to compare the performance of 'high' and 'low' ability airmen (as determined by Armed Forces Qualification Test scores).
