Automatic Data Processing Techniques for Graphic-Data Display, Generation and Analysis.
Abstract
This final Scientific Report provides summary of the accomplishments of the research concerned with two major problems in computer image processing: (1) the extraction of clean line-drawing outlines of three-dimensional objects from photographs in which these objects are partially obscured by shadows, haze and glare, and (2) the reconstruction of complete three-dimensional descriptions of solid objects from multiple photographs taken from different vantage points and under different lighting conditions.
