Heterogeneous Partially Stirred Reactor Analysis.

Abstract

This report presents a mathematical description of the heat, mass and momentum transfer throughout a combusting turbulent heterogeneous flowfield. The equations given form the basis of a computer modeling technique for gas turbine combustors. The model includes the effects of fuel evaporation, turbulent mixing and chemical kinetics.
