The Diurnal Variation of Mixing Height by Month over White Sands Missile Range, NM.

Abstract

An important tool in the evaluation of the dispersion potential of the atmosphere is the mixing height. Quartiles representing the diurnal variation of mixing height over White Sands Missile Range, NM, are displayed graphically and listed tabularly by month. The data are based on 8236 radiosonde observations taken during the period of 1961 through 1972. (Author)
