Electric Transmission Properties of an Externally-Armoured Electric Cable,

Abstract

The results of a study on the electric transmission properties of an externally-armoured electric cable to be used for the construction of a deep platform for acoustic experiments, are shown. Theoretical calculations are matched with experimental measurements. A computer model valid for the acoustic frequency range and programmed in BASIC language for a Hewlett Packard HP 2116B computer is described. (Author)
