Dynamical Lowering of Site Symmetry by Jahn Teller Effects in Resonant Raman Scattering,

Abstract

Theoretical results are given for the temperature dependent breakdown of the Raman scattering selection rules induced by a dynamical lowering of the site symmetry in systems that exhibit the dynamic Jahn Teller effect in the excited electronic states.
