Abstract
The symposium covered current progress, largely in Europe, of laser-doppler anemometer (LDA) measurement. Topics covered were (1) limitations on measuring accuracy inherent in the laser Doppler signal, (2) optical systems, (3) optical and flow aspects of particles, (4) attainable precision with various signal processing arrangements (5) signal processing systems, and (6) applications. This report gives an overview of the symposium and brief summaries of selected contributions.
