An Information Analysis Centre.

Abstract

The concept of the Information Analysis Centre is developed, in which a group of customer-users is provided with reliable and timely information in a limited subject area. The conditions which justify an information analysis center, some of its characteristics, some of the steps in organizing a center and the services provided by it to its customers are discussed. The costs of operating the center in terms of the user requirements for its services are considered.
