Self-Heated Heat-Pipe Copper Vapor Laser,

Abstract

The report demonstrates a copper vapor laser (CVL) which can fulfill the Navy's requirements for a blue-green laser with 5mJ of energy per pulse, a 5 to 30 nsec pulse width and a 400 to 3000/sec pulse repetition rate.
