A Program to Plot a Track and Bathymetry or Magnetic Profile on a Polar Stereographic Projection

Abstract

A program has been written for plotting a track and the superimposed bathymetry or magnetic profile on a polar stereographic projection. This profile series is plotted perpendicular to the track, using uncorrected fathoms or meters for bathymetry and residual magnetic intensity for magnetics. The program was written in Fortran IV for use on a CDC 3800 Computer; however, the program can be converted to run on other systems with little difficulty.
