Omega Coverage in India: A Case Study.
Abstract
Preliminary coverage computations indicated inadequate Omega coverage in India. Although reexamination of the criteria used and recomputation indicated adequate coverage, it was believed useful to perform a detailed analysis to illustrate techniques which could be used in a full coverage analysis. Included are full-wave computations on all propagation paths, both long and short, to India and during both day and night conditions. Also included is a technique, believed new, for assessing geometric degradation within Omega. (Author)
