In - House Ad Hoc Study of the Product Improvement Program.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a Product Improvement (PI) Program, which will be more responsive than the present system; will provide for maximum decentralization of authority yet provide optimum visibility at AMC Headquarters; and will consolidate, in one proposed regulation, the procedures now published for Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Product Improvement Proposals (PIP) and Modification Work Orders (MWO).
