Perennially Frozen Rocks of the Coastal Zone of Yakutia,
Abstract
The monograph describes the conditions for formation, propagation, structure and temperature of perennially frozen ground in the coastal zone of Yakutia. Particular attention is devoted to the dynamics of permafrost processes in particular the formation of present day layers of perennially frozen ground in the coastal part of the floor of Arctic seas and also under lakes and rivers in Northern Yakutia.
