Performance Analysis Summary of Four Selected Circuits of the Saudi Arabia National Guard Hf Radio Net.

Abstract

A performance analysis summary is made for two alternative high frequency (HF) radio net configurations, termed the primary and back-up system configurations for the Saudi Arabia National Guard. The impact on system performance is computed for changes in transmitter power and type of antennas proposed for the two configurations on four representative paths. A figure of merit is developed for HF circuit performance comparison. A discussion of this comparison technique is presented.
