MOVIE - NUC: A Computer Program to Display Two- and Three-Dimensional Models as Line Drawings or Continuous-Tone Color Images.

Abstract

MOVIE-NUC is a general-purpose computer graphics display system for two-and three-dimensional models. The results of both static and dynamic analyses may be viewed as line drawings, continuous-tone color images or as an animated movie sequence. MOVIE-NUC uses the Watkins' Visible Surface Algorithm to produce realistic perspective views of the model with the hidden lines and surfaces removed. The system is written in FORTRAN and is run on the Naval Undersea Center Univac 1108 and 1110 computers in either an interactive or batch mode. (Author)
