Completeness Comparisons among Sequences of Samples.

Abstract

It is assumed that two parallel sequences of sets of smaple values are available and it is known that one (at least) is uncensored, though it may not be known which one. Procedures are developed for deciding which sequence is censored (given that just one is), or whether a specific sequence is censored, given that the other is not. Distribution-free procedures, as well as procedures based on knowledge of population distributions, are obtained. (Author)
