Factorial Expansions for Certain Bessel Functions.

Abstract

For certain of the Bessel functions which get small for large real values of the argument, it is difficult to calculate accurate values when the argument is large. For some of these, one can write expansions in terms of factorial series, which take care of the matter quite well. In these expansions, one can use complex values of the argument as well as real, for suitable ranges. (Author)
