Rational Mixed-Integer Minimization Models.

Abstract

The concept of minimization model is defined, and its applications to nonlinear optimization are described. Necessary conditions and sufficient conditions are established for functions to have minimization models in the form of parametric mixed-integer programs with rational coefficients. These necessary conditions may also be thought of as properties of the optimal value functions of rational mixed-integer programs subject to certain RHS perturbations. (Author)
