Passenger Skimmer ZARYA (Glissiruyushchii Passazhirskii Teplokhod 'Zarya'),

Abstract

The Moscow Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Plant of the RSFSR Ministry of the River Fleet has been successfully producing the ZARYA-type skimmer designed by the team at the Central Technical Design Office of the Ministry of the River Fleet. The series production of these ships is making it possible to replace slower hullborne ships on small rivers and to solve the problem of rapid passenger transport on shallow rivers.
