5245 L Electronic Counter Training.

Abstract

Eighteen self-paced programmed instruction packages concerning the use of twelve general, and six special, electronic test equipments have been developed. This document is one of the 12 general test equipment programs and concerns the 5245 L Electronic Frequency Counter. This, or similar test equipment has wide usage in both military and civilian electronics maintenance. As indicated on the first page, the program requires the use of several items of equipment associated with the maintenance of the AN/APN-147 Doppler Radar. The program guides the user through a series of 'hands on' exercises that requires him to practice the use of each of the functions of this test equipment. This training program applies specifically to the use of the 5245 L with the AN/APN-147. In addition, it provides a model for self-paced programs for other applications of the 5245 L and for programs for teaching the use of similar test equipments.
