Research Summary on Thermo-Mechanical Behavior of Composite Materials.

Abstract

The report contains a summary of the research supported by the grant. The main objective of the work was to develop two-dimensional continuum theories of microstructure for the stress analysis of laminated composites under in-plane loading. Particular emphasis was placed on edge-effects. (Author)
