Feasibility Studies Relative to Using New Polymers and Plastics as Inhibitors to Replace Compositions Presently Being Used with Rocket Propellant Grains of 155mm HE RAP (Rocket Assisted Projectile).

Abstract

The purpose of this contract is to carry out feasibility studies relative to using new polymers and plastics as inhibitors to replace compositions presently used with propellant grains of 155mm HE RAP (Rocket Assisted Projectile). There is a need to enhance the effectiveness of the presently employed inhibitor compositions both as regards long range performance and application technology to the grain.
