Optimal Linear Control (Formulation to Meet Conventional Design Specs.).

Abstract

This report contains results of initial research into the advancement of optimal linear control design technology to the state where operational control laws can be designed routinely with automated quadratic optimal design procedures. The specific results documented in this report consist of design rules for single-input systems, demonstration of these rules on two authentic examples, and identification of the independent optimization parameters for multiple-input systems.
