'FREON' T-WD 602 Temperature Considerations when Cleaning Precision Measurement Equipment (PME).

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation was to determine the correct operating temperature of 'FREON' T-WD 602, when it is used as a solvent in an ultrasonic cleaner to clean PME. In order to determine the correct operating temperature of the 'FREON' T-WD 602 it was first necessary to develop a method of making dirt samples that were uniform. The cleaning efficiency of the 'FREON' T-WD 602 was established for various temperatures. (Author)
