Montana Large Aperture Seismic Array.
Abstract
The continued operation, maintenance, and array improvement activities at the Montana LASA during the reporting period are described. Array operations including the preparation of daily teleseismic event reports during the system conversion at the Seismic Data Analysis Center are detailed. Teleseismic processing methods are indicated. Neat regional event detection and reporting are summarized. SP and LP seismograph system performance measurements are presented. New PDP-7 computer programs for playout and recording of array data are described. Maintenance activities at both the data and maintenance centers are discussed.
