Research Studies for the Development of Design Criteria for Sensor Display Systems.

Abstract

The studies investigated the effects of vibration, image definition, raster noise, and spatial frequency of displayed information on operator target recognition performance. Relevant previous research, study methodology, results, and implications of the results for the design of sensor display systems are presented for each of the three studies.
