Development of Master Checklist for Planning Nuclear Defense Operations.
Abstract
This report describes the development of the Master Ckecklist which is included as an appendix. Various studies that provided inputs are described, along with the method of approach that was used in developing the checklist. The various stages (crisis buildup, crisis relocation, transattack, and postattack) are described in order to provide an overall view of the sequence of events and the rationale of emergency actions given in the checklist.
