Application of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric Techniques to the Analysis of Copper-Base Alloys

Abstract

A simplified method of analysis for the determination of manganese, copper, zinc, iron, nickel, aluminum and tin in copper-base alloys has been developed in which a single dissolution of the sample is used. Results of repeated determinations on secondary standards prepared at this Laboratory and on National Bureau of Standards (NBS) reference materials in which aqueous standard solutions were used were in good agreement with accepted values.
