A Perturbation Method for Solving the Linear Boltzmann Equation,

Abstract

Two perturbation methods for solving the one dimensional linear steady state Boltzmann equation for slab geometry are considered. These two perturbation methods are the boundary dominated (BD) method and the collision dominated (CD) method.
