A Study of Fog and Stratus for Selected Cold Regions,

Abstract

The report presents the Climatology of fog and stratus for selected cold regions. Three separate regions are studied; Alaskan Coastal, Greenland-Iceland coastal and three Antarctic stations on the Ross Sea. The percent frequency of occurrence of fog and stratus is shown by isopleths. A graphical representation of the cumulative distribution of fog and stratus by air temperature completes the study.
