Applicability of Microprogramming to the Translation of Data and Data Base Management Systems,

Abstract

This paper continues the development of data base management system migration methodology by investigating the role of microprogramming. While this research is basic to achieving behavioral equivalence of computing system hardware, it has further application towards achieving language compatibility and the development of data translators.
