Single Service Manager Attribute Analyses.

Abstract

Three attribute analyses were performed to compare alternative ways to perform the Single Service Manager (SSM). Under each of these analyses, a set of attributes was defined. Each attribute was weighted (given a numerical score) according to importance of the attribute to the success of the SSM. All three attribute analyses reflected preference for those alternatives which called for establishment of a Military Munitions Command (MMC) which performed all SSM functions. Furthermore, MMC reporting to the Department of the Army was preferred over other alternatives.
